June 2017: The documentary “Joseph Walsh: Crafting the Contemporary” was produced by the New York School of Design and directed by Grace Zinnel, used original music by Arthur Hernandez.
November 3, 2017: Percussionist Bill Solomon performed Inner Worlds for solo percussion, at the Music Museum in Providence, Rhode Island. Inner Worlds was written especially for Dr. Solomon and was premiered in 2013.
November 19, 2017: Featured artist on Symphony Sunday, WDRT, “Composer’s Choice,” William Neal, radio host.
January 29, 2018: Apollo Chamber Players performed String Quartet No. 2: TEXAS at the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall on the campus of the University of Texas at El Paso. This was the inaugural presentation of the Rio Grande Concert Series, produced by Arthur Hernandez and El Paso Community College in conjunction with the University of Texas at El Paso Music Department.
April 27, 2018: The Hoppa Project (Erberk Eryilmaz, piano, Laura Krentzman, viola, and Julian Hernandez, clarinet) premiered Trio for Piano, Clarinet, and Viola (2015), at the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall on the campus of the University of Texas at El Paso. This performance was part of the Rio Grande Concert Series.
October 12, 2018: E-cellist Jeffrey Krieger performed Old Badman for electric cello (2012) at the College Music Society’s National Conference, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
October 28, 2018: Percussionist Bill Solomon will premiere Metal Music (2018), for vibraphone, crotales, large gong, sizzle cymbal, and triangle, at the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall on the campus of the University of Texas at El Paso. This concert is part of the Rio Grande Concert Series.
