EVENTS 2017-18:
June 2017: The documentary “Joseph Walsh: Crafting the Contemporary” was produced by the New York School of Design and directed by Grace Zinnel, and used original music by Arthur Hernandez.
November 3, 2017: Percussionist Bill Solomon performed Inner Worlds for solo percussion, at the Music Museum in Providence, Rhode Island. Inner Worlds was written especially for Dr. Solomon and was premiered in 2013.
November 19, 2017: Featured artist on Symphony Sunday, WDRT, “Composer’s Choice,” William Neal, radio host.
January 29, 2018: The Apollo Chamber Players performed String Quartet No. 2: TEXAS at the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall on the campus of the University of Texas at El Paso. This was the inaugural presentation of the Rio Grande Concert Series, produced by Arthur Hernandez and El Paso Community College in conjunction with the University of Texas at El Paso Music Department.
April 2018: The Eryilmaz Trio will premiere Trio for Piano, Clarinet, and Viola (2015), on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall on the campus of the University of Texas at El Paso. This performance is part of the Rio Grande Concert Series.
Events 2018-19:
The world premiere of The Desperation of Jesus Christ (2017) for piano, clarinet, and string quartet, will take place during this season. Please stay tuned for further details.
